Come Join Us!
Welcome to Troop 51 in Tokyo! Do you like exploring the outdoors, meeting new people, and acquiring life skills that you cannot learn in a classroom? Then join us!
We are a Boy Scout Troop located in central Tokyo at the Tokyo American Club, our sponsor organization. Troop 51 is part of the Boy Scouts of America’s Far East Council.
Scouting teaches skills such as first aid, camping and cooking; leadership, character and independence; and values including an ethic of community service. Our Troop meets monthly and also goes on outings once a month.
We are open to all boys aged 11-17 years. You don't have to be a member of the Tokyo American Club to join. Younger boys aged 6-10 years can join Cub Scout Pack 51, also based at the Tokyo American Club.
For more information, please visit About Us. If you're interested in joining, please Contact Us for more details.
We have "Welcome to the Troop 51," a guide on all the things that you need to know about Troop 51: how we operate, our events and outings, merit badges, rank advancement, and more. The guide is available at the bottom of this page.
